About

The Westcott Community Garden, located at 127 Harvard Place, was established in the spring of 2009 on a formerly vacant lot. The garden is located in the heart of the Westcott neighborhood, on property owned by the Westcott Community Development Corporation (WCDC). The garden broke ground during Syracuse Grow’s first ever Resource Drive on April 25, 2009. The Westcott Community Garden is cultivated by neighborhood residents through an allotment-style structure whereby families and individuals tend individual plots. There are currently 24 raised beds allocated to interested members each spring. To get involved or learn more about the Westcott Community Garden, contact the garden coordinator.
