About
The RISE Lodi St. Garden was formed after farmers from the Syracuse Refugee Agricultural Program (SyRAP) outgrew the RISE Seward St. Garden. Many of the farmers from the first year of the program wanted to continue gardening in the Seward St. Garden so the Lodi St. garden was built to accommodate new farmers. There was also a need for outdoor classroom space and market space, so a small shelter was built for classes and an arbor, that can be covered with tarps, was built for market space. A small greenhouse was also installed to help SyRAP farmers grow seedlings in the spring.
