The Hawley-Green Cultivating Community Garden is a collaboration between NEHDA, Inc and Southern Charm Property Maintenance. We grow foods commonly used in recipes from a variety of cultures and are always open to requests! Produce is planted and tended by volunteers. Anyone is welcome to come harvest food as needed (please refer to the signs indicating how to know when something is ready for harvest to avoid waste). Food that is not harvested by community members is harvested by volunteers and donated to the Produce Pantry at Syracuse Northeast Community Center or the Food Box Distribution program at the Eastern Farm Workers Association.

Thanks to a grant from the CNY Arts Foundation we are holding monthly Art in the Garden workshops July – October of 2024. Please see our schedule here.
