Local Community Gardens in Syracuse

A number of community gardens already exist in Syracuse. Each is unique with regard to who gardens and what is gardened. Some are "edible gardens" full of vegetables and fruits, some are "ornamental gardens" boasting colorful flowers and/or artwork, and some are a combination. While several gardens are divided into individual plots for gardeners and have a membership process, many others are communally cultivated. Some gardens share their harvest amongst all gardeners, while some donate produce to local food pantries.
